Minister: Putin approves pension funds’ access to privatization
MOSCOW, Mar 24 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has generally approved government proposals to allowprivate pension funds to participate in privatization, Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev said Thursday.
“We have prepared suggestions to widen participation of non-government pension funds and state management companies in privatization already this year,” he said at a meeting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
“These proposals were submitted to the president and were studied at a meeting with his participation. As I see it, they were generally approved. Now we are to work out details of the mechanism.”
